Apparently Felix' wife Sally was living in Waller County, Texas, but she is not enumerated with her sister Roberta.

- Research Note: It is possible that (1) George Thompson may have been born to Laura Adams and David Yeager and adopted the surname of Laura’s second husband; (2) he may have been born to Laura Adams Yeager and Robert Thompson prior to their marriage; or (3) he may have been a son of Robert Thompson of an earlier marriage who adopted the middle name of Laura’s father later in life.
- She married Robert Lee Thompson, son of Wilson Neal Thompson and Elizabeth Mays, on 3 March 1887 in Hale County, Alabama.

- Research Note: Laura Adams was born on 12 May 1855 according to a family document that lists the births of the children of Felix Grundy Adams and Huldah Ann Shields, which fits perfectly into the two-year intervals between each of their eight children. However, inscribed on her grave marker is the date 26 May 1856.
