• Mary Ann Rabalais was born on 3 October 1921 in Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
• The following appeared on 4 April 1930 in the Denton Record-Chronicle: (Beulah, Apr. 2) Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davis of Fort Worth visited W. A. Bounds.
• She married Albert Davis, son of William Weston Davis and Lou Anna Ward, on 15 April 1940 in Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and they later divorced.
• The following appeared on 14 May 1940 in The Denton Record-Chronicle: Albert Davis, son of Mrs. Williamw. Davis of Pineville, La., and Miss Mary Ann Rabalais, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. George J. Rabalais of Alexandria, were married April 15 in Alexandria. The couple will make their home in Alexandria. Davis was born and reared in Denton and since her husband's death his mother has been making her home in Pineville with Mr. and Mrs. Whitten W. Davis.
• Albert Davis registered for the draft on 16 October 1940 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, while living with his wife Mary Ann at 1116 Madison in Alexandria, and employed there by Blue Ribbon Dairy at Jackson & 9th Street.
• She married William McDonald Day Jr.
• Mary Ann Rabalais died on 27 March 2003 at age 81.
• Her husband William McDonald Day Jr. became a widower at her death.
• She was interred at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, Wake Village, Bowie County, Texas.
• The following appeared in a local newspaper: Mary Ann Day 81, of Fouke, Ark. died Thursday March 27, 2003 in a local hospital. Mrs. Day was born November 21, 1921 in Alexandria, La. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Arkansas Cattle Association and Fouke Home Extension Club. Survivors include her husband, W. M. Day Jr. of Fouke; three daughters, Theresa Ann Ramos of Boyce, La; and Mary Fulenwider and Patricia Woods of Texarkana; two sons, Charles "Pete" Day of Texarkana; and Daniel Day of Pisa, Italy; one brother, George Rabalais of Alexandria; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at their home in Fouke.
