She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Arkansas Cattle Association and Fouke Home Extension Club. Survivors include her husband, W. M. Day Jr. of Fouke; three daughters, Theresa Ann Ramos of Boyce, La; and Mary Fulenwider and Patricia Woods of Texarkana; two sons, Charles "Pete" Day of Texarkana; and Daniel Day of Pisa, Italy; one brother, George Rabalais of Alexandria; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at their home in Fouke.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Day.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Fant Day of Fouke, Arkansas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Pete Day and Judy Day of Texarkana, Texas, Daniel Lee Day and Gerda Day of Pisa, Italy; two daughters, Mary Fulenwider of Texarkana, Texas, Patricia Woods of Texarkana, Texas; three stepsons and step daughters-in-law, Steven and Angela Fant of Texarkana, Texas, Douglas and Regina Fant of Texarkana, Arkansas, Damon and Terry Fant of Texarkana, Texas; one stepson-in-law, Ruben Ramos of Boyce, Louisiana; one sister, Ruby Malatchi of Boise, Idaho; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; eighteen step great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
