He had been confined to his bed with illness for the past 17 weeks. The funeral will be held from the family home, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Herman Brezing officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
         Mr. Koelle was well known in this city. Years ago he conducted the American hotel, at Fourth and Niagara streets. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Frank G., Carl and George, and . . . daughters [Amelia Koelle], Sister Mary Hildegarde of St. Mary's convent in Fourth street, Mrs. Harry Asma and Mrs. Howard Balliett, all of this city.
