  • The following appeared on 11 July 1932 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Frank G. Koelle, 53 years old, a resident of Niagara Falls for more than
    45 years, died at his home, 412 Cedar avenue, early yesterday, after five months' illness. Mr. Koelle's wife, the former Frances Colpoys Koelle, died about three weeks ago, after an illness of two weeks.
          Mr. Koelle, who has retired from active participation in business some three years ago, was active in severl local fraternal organizations. These included Aerie No. 88, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Nest No. 7, Fraternal Order of Orioles.
         Mr. Koelle was born in Germany.
         Surviving him is one son, John Francis Koelle; two brothers, Carl and George Koelle; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Asma, Mrs. James J. Hannon and Mrs. Howard C. Balliett, all of this city, and a sister, Sister M. Hildegarde, of Convent of Mercy, Batavia.
         The funeral will be held Wednesday from the family home at 9:30 a.m., and from St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock, when a solemn mass of requiem will be celebrated. Interment will be at Riverdale [later Gate of Heaven] cemetery.
