- The following appeared on 27 March 1944 in the Michigan City News Dispatch: Funeral services were held at 2:30 this afternoon at the Marvin Haas funeral home for Mrs. Hattie Mae Keithley, who died at her home in Long Beach Friday after an illness of two months. She was a member of the Methodist church at Plymouth, N. Y., and also affiliated with the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago.
Surviving are three sons, H. Rudolph Keithley, Edward Keithley, this city, Frank Keithley, LaFayette, and two daughters, Mrs. Jane Santell, Beverly Hills, Calif., and Mrs. Madeline Fitz, this city.
Funeral services were in charge of Rev. H. V. Deale with burial in Greenwood cemetery.
