Hill, who died at her home near Anderson, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Anderson Baptist Church by Rev. J. E. Boulet. She was a daughter of a Grimes County pioneer, Gen. J. W. Barnes, who settled near Anderson in 1841. Surviving are the husband; a son, Allen Hill of Anderson, and a daughter, Mrs. V. V. Aerl of San Antonio.
