Walton, Maxie Charles Walton and Theodore T. Walton. Son Maxie also is enumerated with his grandparents in Muskogee County.

- The following appeared on 28 November 1980 in the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise: Rollie L. Walton, 86, 421 N.W. Raleigh, Dewey, died Tuesday afternoon at his home.
Mr. Walton was born on Aug. 4 [sic] at Seguin, Texas, to Aaron and Priscilla Redrick Walton. Mr. Walton had lived at Coweta, where he was a member of the Methodist Church at Coweta, Jackson Grove Community, and later he lived at Oktaha, Okla., where he was baptized in the Baptist Church.
He lived for a time in Mildred, Kan., where he was employed by the Portland Cement Plant. Mr. Walton and his family moved to Dewey in July 1929 and he retired from the cement plant in 1961. Following his retirement he was employed by the Forrest Manor Nursing Home for about two years. He was currently a member of the Westside First Baptist Church in Dewey. Mr. Walton was married to Miss Eula Baldtrip on Dec. 24, 1919. She and a daughter, Juanita, preceded him in death.
Mr. Walton is survived by two sons, Theodore Walton, of Dewey; and Maxie Walton, of Bartlesville; one sister, Mrs. Ella Mae Carter, of San Diego, Calif; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Walton will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Westside Baptist Church in Dewey with Rev. Ben Colbert officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. - The following appeared on 24 December 1997 in the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise: Maxie Charles Walton, 75, of Bartlesville, died 11:50 p.m. Monday at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Greater First Baptist Church with Dr. Timothy Jackson, pastor of the church officiating, and assisted by the Rev. Willie Chambers and the Rev. Walter Pettiford. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.

Mr. Walton was born April 5, 1922 at Oktaha and graduated from Douglas High School in 1948. He entered the U.S. Army on Nov. 10, 1942 and was honorably discharged on Dec. 11, 1945. Mr. Walton married Reecie Brown April 5, 1968 at Bartlesville and was employed by the Bartlesville Schools for several years as a bus driver. He also worked for the Dewey Portland Cement Plant for two years before going to work for Phillips Petroleum Co. where he worked for more than 30 years in the building services department. He retired in 1985. Mr. Walton was a member of the Greater First Baptist Church in Bartlesville.
Survivors include his wife, Reecie, of the family home; a son, Robert Wayne, of Bartlesville; a daughter, Linda E. Brown, also of Bartlesville; 10 grandchildren, Karen Annette Birmingham of Tulsa, Angela Lynn Brown and Marva Marie Brown, both of Bartlesville, Roy Franklin Brown, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., Marcus Walton and Andrea Walton both of Bartlesville, Robert Wayne Walton, Jr. and Tamika Walton, both of Texas, Carman Walton of Pensacola, Fla., and Edward L. Newton III of Memphis, Tenn; a host of great-grandchildren; two nephews, Anthony Maurice Jacison and Gregory Eugene Jackson, both of Seattle, Wash; and a host of cousins.
Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Theodore Walton; a sister, Juanita Jackson, and a stepdaughter, Helen Joan Newton.
