Killed 7 hogs for Mrs Thomason (812 lbs). Sent them to her cut up & spread." And on the following day, "The Waggons returned from Mr J H Gants with 20 hogs, 4667 lbs, at 10 cents per lb." On Thursday, the 1st, "Settled up the 20 hogs bought of J. H. Gant, all large meat."
