He was interred at the Tinley Cemetery, Hephzibah, Richmond County, Georgia.
The following appeared on 16 January 1963 in The Augusta Chronicle: Frank Capers Tinley, 69, McBean, Ga., died at his residence at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday after a short illness.
     Mr. Tinley had been a life-long resident of McBean.
     Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Georgia Mae Cosnaham [sic] Tinley, two daughters, Miss Frankie Mae Tinley, Mrs. Edna Mae Gibbons, Milton, Pa; two sons, Clifford A. Tinley, Arab, Ala; Leroy Tinley; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Piney Grove Baptist Church, McBean, Ga., with the Rev. Vadis Wylds officiating. Burial will follow in the Tinley Family Cemetery.
