Relationship is not clear, but note that a sister (Martha) of JGH's daughter's husband Alonzo Laughlin was married to Michael Croughan. Requires further research.

  • The following appeared on 22 September 1899 in a Warrensburg newspaper: John G. Harrison, living south of Holden, died Wedensday, September 20, after an illness lasting three or four days. His ailment was heart disease and stomach trouble. He was 70 years old and leaves a wife and several children. Mr. Harrison came to this city from Illinois in 1879. He was a devoted member of the Baptist church.
