Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 11A.M. at Christ Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Christ Church Building Fund, 538 Walnut Street, Macon, GA 31201. A reception will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Carlyle Place following the service.-Mrs. Felton was the wife of the late George Gibson Felton. Born on May 30, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Pauline Pierce Corn and the late Dr. Ernest Corn of Macon. She attended Macon schools and graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. During the war, she was a volunteer for Red Cross, serving as Chairman of Red Cross Motor Corp. Mrs. Felton was a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King and a member of the Altar Guild. She was a member of Junior League of Macon, serving as President in 1954-1955, and she served on the Macon Town Committee of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of American in the State of Georgia. Mrs. Felton served on the Boys Club Board and was a member of the founding committee of the Macon Youth Museum, now the Museum of Arts and Science. She served on the Johnston-Felton-Hay House board and the Board of Appleton Church Home. Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, Louisa Macgill Felton of Macon, GA, Polly Pierce Felton Morrison and James Boyd Morrison, Jr. of Columbia, SC and Anne Tracy Felton Moore and Arthur Lee Moore, Jr. of Marietta, GA; 5 Grandchildren, George Felton Moore, Arthur Lee Moore, III and Polly Macgill Moore, all of Marietta, GA and James Hamilton Morrison and William Felton Morrison, both of Columbia, SC; Sister, Susan Corn Conway of Washington, DC; Brother, Lovick Pierce Corn of Columbus, GA. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
