  • The following appeared on 16 January 1915 in The Macon Daily Telegraph: (Baltimore, Md., Jan. 15) The marriage of Miss Luisa Macgill Gibson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George T. M. Gibson of Baltimore, to William Hamilton Felton, Jr., son of Judge and Mrs. William Hamilton Felton, of Macon, will take place at noon tomorrow at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gibson, 514 Park avenue. Owing to the illness of Mrs. Felton the wedding will be very quiet, with only the two families attending. /P/ The ceremony will be performed by Rev. Dr. Arthur B. Kinsolving, rector of St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal church; The bride will enter the drawing room with her father, by whom she will be given away, and will be met by the bridegroom, accompanied by his best man, his cousin, Dr. John Duncan, of Macon. She will wear a beautiful gown of white satin covered with old family lace and a lace veil worn by her great aunt, the late Mrs. James Birckhead, at her wedding, and will carry a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white orchids. /P/ After a small breakfast the bride and bridegroom will leave for a wedding journey and their future home in Macon, but will return for the marriage of the bride's only sister, Miss Sara T. Gibson, to George Lynde, of New York, which will take place February 16 at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gibson. /P/ The Misses Gibson are two of the most charming girls who have ever grown up in Baltimore and whose family for generations has been prominent in society. /P/ Judge and Mrs. Felton arrived here today and are guests at the Belvidere hotel. Relatives of the bridegroom-elect who are here for the wedding, and who are stayong at the Belvidere, are Mrs. John Little, of Atlanta; Samuel Dunlap, of Macon; Mrs. George W. Duncan, of Macon, and her two sons, George Duncan and Dr. John Duncan, the latter of whom will be his cousin's best man.
