A native of Cairo, Georgia, she was born November 11, 1909, a daughter of the late, Mamie Jane Lewis and John Dixon Thomason. Mrs. Hinely moved from Cairo to Jacksonville upon her marriage to Theodore Hinely. Surviving are her sister Nelle Murphy and her husband Jack of Columbus, Georgia; brother, Homer Thomason and wife Sara, of Slidell, Louisiana; and sister-in-law, Thelma Kaufman, of Jacksonville. Her husband, Theodore Hinely; three sisters, Ione Mann, Louise Misenheimer, and Mary Roberts; and two brothers, Howard and Hancel Thomason preceded her in death. The family would like to thank Ms. Bridgette Vickers for her devotion and care during Mrs. Hinely's illness. A devoted wife, sister, and aunt, Mrs. Hinely will always be remembered for her welcoming home, love and devotion to all of her family. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 24 from 6 PM until 8 PM at George H . Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., So., and graveside services, Saturday, Sept. 25, at 11 AM, at Greenlawn Cemetery, with Arlan Sapp officiating.
