• Elizabeth Ireland was born circa 1815 in Tennessee.
• It is an educated guess that Elizabeth Ireland was a daughter of Daniel and Margaret Ireland. While she was already married and out of the household for the 1840 and 1850 censuses, there is a female child of the right age in the household in 1840.
• Daniel Ireland and Margaret Cochran appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1830 in Williamson County, Tennessee. Other (counted but unnamed) members of the household apparently included Elizabeth Ireland, Samuel S. Ireland, Elenor S. Ireland and Jane Ireland.
• She married William Burchett Harrison, son of James Gabriel Harrison and Hixcey Robertson, on 6 December 1831 in Williamson County, Tennessee, and William's brothers John Gabriel and Joseph married Elizabeth's sisters Elenor and Jane, respectively.
• William Burchett Harrison and Elizabeth Ireland appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Mount Vernon, Jefferson County, Illinois. Other members of the household included Margaret Frances Harrison, Louisa Elizabeth H. Harrison, Susan Priscilla L. Harrison, Virginia A. S. Harrison, Walter L. Harrison, Charles P. Harrison and Eleanor M. Harrison.
• William Burchett Harrison and Elizabeth Ireland appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1860 in Johnsonville, Wayne County, Illinois, and Tennessee-born John Birge living next door may actually be a Burch relative.. Other members of the household included Walter L. Harrison, Charles P. Harrison, Eleanor M. Harrison, Johnson Harrison, Isam Harrison, Viola Harrison and Grace Harrison.
