• Robert Waller Cosnahan and Edna Merle Hughes appeared in the US federal census of 15 April 1910 in Mexia, Limestone County, Texas, at 620 Main Street. Other members of the household included Corbin Waller Cosnahan, Ruth Cosnahan, Julia Franklin Cosnahan, Frank Hughes Cosnahan and Patrick Freeman Cosnahan.
• He married Harriet LaVerne Stephenson, daughter of Charles F. Stephenson and Lydia Yeager, say 1926.
• The following appeared on 30 April 1943 in the Dallas Morning News: Staff Sgt. Corbin Waller Cosnahan has been visiting his wife, the former Miss LaVerne Stephenson, 2413 Peabody, and mother, Mrs. R. W. Cosnahan, 1511 Lenway, en route to officer candidate school at Mississippi State College. He will train in the administrative transportation division.
• The following appeared on 10 August 1943 in the Dallas Morning News: Corbin Waller Cosnahan, son of Mrs. R W. Cosnahan, 1511 Lenway, has been commissioned a second lieutenant upon completion of the transportation corps officer candidate school at New Orleans, La.
• At the time of his death Corbin Waller Cosnahan was living in North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, at 8829 Laura.
• Corbin Waller Cosnahan died on 4 January 1956 at age 50 in Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, at Miles Hospital & Clinic . His death was officially witnessed by Harriet LaVerne Stephenson.
• His wife Harriet LaVerne Stephenson became a widow at his death.
• He was interred at Oakland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
• The following appeared on 5 January 1956 in the Dallas Morning News:
  [:TAB] Corbin W. Cosnahan, 50, co-owner of Finances, Inc., of Grapevine and former Dallas resident, died Wednesday in a Grapevine hospital after a heart attack.
  [:TAB] Cosnahan, who has lived in Grapevine for the last five years, was graduated from Forest Avenue High School in Dallas and attended Southern Methodist University. He and his brother, H. M. Cosnahan, had operated Finances, Inc., since 1950.
  [:TAB] Survivors include his wife, his mother, Mrs. Edna M. Cosnahan of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Roach of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Ruth Pitts of Dallas, and five brothers, Frank Cosnahan and Edwin Cosnahan of Port Arthur, Pat F. Cosnahan of Dallas, H. M. Cosnahan of Grapevine and Robert W. Cosnahan of Houston.
  [:TAB] Funeral arrangements were pending Wednesday with the Faust Funeral Home in Grapevine.
