  • William B. Hall died on 22 March 1885 at age 87 in Lawrence County, North Carolina.
  • His wife Sarah Osborne LeGrand became a widow at his death.
  • He was interred at Scruggs Cemetery, Town Creek, Lawrence County, Alabama.
