Porter Erwin

- Porter Erwin was born circa 1874 in Tennessee He is identified in the 1880 census as a son of James and Jemima Guest, but it is an educated guess that he is the son of Jemima's son, widower Ephraim Erwin, living at that time in the Guest household.
- James Lawrence Guest and Jemima A. Voss appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Columbia, Maury County, Tennessee, at South Main Street. Other members of the household included Porter Erwin, Ephraim E. Erwin, Hiram P. Erwin, Joshua Guest, William J. Guest and J. H. Guest.
