- She married Frank Stone Tainter, son of Thomas Parsons Tainter and Josephine Caroline Brooks, on 19 November 1892 in Manhattan, New York.
- The following appeared on 20 November 1892 in The New York Herald: [Married] On Saturday, November 19, 1892, at the Church of the Holy Communion, New York city, by the Rev. Henry Motett, Susan Bayard Ryckman to Frank Stone Tainter.
- Mr. & Mrs. Frank Stone Tainter (Susan Bayard Ryckman), Morristown, New Jersey, appeared in the 1898 New York Social Register.
- She applied for a passport on 17 July 1905 while living in Far Hills, Somerset County, New Jersey. specifying that the passport be sent to F. S. Tainter, 92 William Street, New York.

- The following appeared on 30 September 1954 in the Somerset Messenger-Gazette: (Far Hills) Susan B. Tainter, 82, of Lake road, widow of Colonel Frank S. Tainter, died Monday in her home after a long illness. Mrs. Tainter was born in New York State, the daughter of the late Edward and Ada Bayard Rychman. She had lived in Far Hills more than 50 years and was a member of St. John's on the Mountain Episcopal Church. There are no immediate survivors. Graveside services will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, by the Rev. John D. Wing, rector of St. John's on the Mountain Church.
