Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Central Presbyterian church with Oliver Burleson and Son, funeral directors in charge.
       The deceased came to Texas from Alabama, when a small boy. He is survived by his wife and several children.
• The following appeared on 7 February 1938 in the Corsicana Daily Sun: (Fairfield, Feb. 7) Mrs. Ross Evans had as her guest this week her mother, Mrs. C. W. Deakle of Corsicana.
• Emma Cornelia Cooper died on 29 August 1954 at age 82 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas, at Palestine Nursing Home . Informant was Mrs. W. Mitchell Jr.
• She was interred at Cade Cemetery, Wortham, Freestone County, Texas.
