• Mary Maciejeski? was born circa 1848 in Poland.
• She married John Cyrklewski circa 1872.
• Mary Maciejeski? became a widow at the circa 1896 death of her husband John Cyrklewski.
• Mary Maciejeski? and Benjamin John Kaskie appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Marlin, Falls County, Texas, enumerated in the household of Polish carpenter Frank Kazmeroski. While they are identified as widow Mary ?Mimis? and son Ben Casting, there is little doubt that they are Mary and Ben "Caskie," although her other younger children have not yet been found in the 1900 census.
• She was a cook, according to the 1900 census.
• Mary Maciejeski? died on 16 February 1926 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 409 Beaver Street at her residence. . Her death was officially witnessed by Benjamin John Kaskie.
• She was interred at Holy Cross Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
• The following appeared in a Houston newspaper: Mrs. Mary Caskie, 61, died at her home at 409 Beaver street at 4 a. m. Tuesday.
       She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mattie Karonkie, and four sons, Joe Caskie of Gorman, Texas, S. Caskie of Marlin, Texas, and Steve and Ben Caskie of Houston, and 28 grandchildren.
       Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s church at 9 a. m. Thursday. Rev. Father Thomas B. Banfield will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery under the direction of the Wall & Stabe Undertaking company.
