Barnett, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Cliff Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be M. T. Borwn, Carey King, A. G. Moore, C. H. Yeager, Hal Ferris and C. H. Schutte. Honorary pallbearers will be Louis S. Turley, Henry Tanner, Charles Gunning and Sam Duncan.
Mr. Pegues was formerly Chief of Police in Highland Park and also was for several years on the Dallas detective force. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie Pegues, two sons, Alex P. Jr. and James H. Pegues; five brothers, O. T., Perry, P. A. Pegues, Dallas; Mack Pegues, Fort Worth, and John A. Pegues, San Antonio, and two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Holt, McAllen, and Mrs. J. L. Stedman, San Antonio.
