The bride was given in marriage by her father. In her wedding party were Mrs. Douglas Butler, of Opelika, and Miss Elizabeth Hall, of Montgomery; Misses Peggy Holt, of Charlotte, N. C., and Mary Pearson, of Opelika. Anne Moreman and Randy White, Jr., were the ring bearers.
Volney Howard Ford, of Lynchburg, was his brother's best man. - Sara Elizabeth Cook became a widow at the 22 July 1986 death of her husband James Lewis Ford.
- Sara Elizabeth Cook died on 23 May 1990 at age 67.
