Mr. Ford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Klah T. Ford of Lynchburg.
         The wedding will take place Thursday, March 11, in the First Methodist Church, Opelika.
  • The following appeared on 17 March 1943 in the Richmond Times-Dispatch: (Lynchburg) Miss Sara Elizabeth Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eason Thweatt Cook, Jr., of Opelika, Ala., and Sergeant James Lewis Ford, of the Army Air Force, son of Mr. and Mrs. Klah T. Ford of Lynchburg, were married march 11 in Trinity Methodist Church, Opelika. The Rev. J. O. Grogan, D. D., the pastor, officiated.
         The bride was given in marriage by her father. In her wedding party were Mrs. Douglas Butler, of Opelika, and Miss Elizabeth Hall, of Montgomery; Misses Peggy Holt, of Charlotte, N. C., and Mary Pearson, of Opelika. Anne Moreman and Randy White, Jr., were the ring bearers.
         Volney Howard Ford, of Lynchburg, was his brother's best man.
