Pegues died Friday at a Dallas hospital. Born in Oxford, Miss., he came to Dallas in 1923. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Highland Park Methodist Church, which he served as a steward. He lived at 6226 Revere Place.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. M. C. Pegues; two sisters, Mrs. Gay F. Matchett, Patoka, Ill., and Mrs. J. B. Pope, Athens, Greece, and a brother, Mal C. Pegues, Denver, Colo.
Pallbearers will be J. F. McCrary, W. M. Encke, Earl Edmondson, Ted Jones, Pat Henry and Bob Terry. Officers and directors of the Reputlic National Bank will be honorary pallbearers.
