Rossignol, 36, of Clarendon, Va., met death here yesterday when he dove from an airplane into the Potomac river 60 feet below. Rossignol, who struck on his back in the dive and went down before help could reach him, attempted the stunt for the entertainment of a beach resort crowd.

Friends may call at the Mattingly Funeral Home, Leonardtown Md. on Friday, May 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where prayers will be said at 8 p.m. Additional viewing for friends Saturday, May 9 after 8 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, May 9 at 9:30 a.m., in Our Lady's Church, Medley's Neck, Md. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Georgia Ave., Wheaton, Md. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Associaiton. Reception willo follow in American Legion Post Home 86 in Rockville, Md.
