Gertrude Phelps
- The following appeared on 20 November 1901 in The Columbus Enquirer-Sun: Two weddings will take place in Columbus today. The contracting par ties in both of these are qute prominent and both will be brilliant social events.
At four o'clock this afternoon Miss Maria Louise Wells and Mr. Justin Thurston Percival will be married at the home of the bride on Thirteenth street, and at eight o'clock tonight, Miss Gertrude Phelps and Mr. Thomas Dixon are to be unitd in the holy bonds of matrimony at the residence of the bride's father, Dr. George Phelps, on Eleventh street.
Mr. and Mrs. Percival, after the ceremony, will leave for Virginia to visit the family of the groom.
At the home of Dr. Phelps tonight will be given a large reception by Mr. and Mrs. Dixon to their friends.
