the Lubbock Morning Avalanche: During Alimony Trial. HOUSTON, Aug. 27. (UP) -- Whipping out an ice pick at the close of an alimony hearing, a negro woman stabbed her ex-husband today in the court of Judge Roy Campbell.
The ex-husband, Lucius Moses, 55, was stabbed in the chest after Judge Campbell fixed alimony payments at $10 a month.
Moses was admitted to a hospital. His former wife was taken into custody by police after Jusge Campbell sentenced her to three days in jail for contempt of court. - Lucious Moses was born circa 30 July 1895 in Willis, Montgomery County, Texas.
