  • He was attending school and working on the farm, according to the 1850 census.
  • Amanda Allen Barlow's obituary mentions a sister living at the time of her death in 1859. Early censuses do not reveal a sister, but since there appear to be too many boys eumerated, this is probably due to an error.
  • Dr. Rembert was photographed during his later years with his eldest daughter May Latham.
