- Son Cameron was born say 1881.
- The following appeared on 30 May 1887 in the Columbus Daily Enquirer: A little son of Dr. J. W. Cameron fell from the scaffold around the steeple of the Jewish synagogue late Tuesday evening. He struck on the brick below and was picked up in an unconscious condition. He was still alive at last accounts, but is quite seriously hurt.
