  • Polly was born circa 1845.
  • In his book of Misc. Financial & Slave Records, the account of William B. Campbell, for March 1857 through February 1858, for board March through December 1857, miscellaneous supplies, cash, and three mules, settled by Green by his note and transfer of girl Polly and boy Lee on 7 February 1858. No other mention of Lee has yet been found in Green's records.
  • She married Charles, son of Hansel and Creacy, on 22 September 1860 in Montgomery County, Texas, at Greenwood plantation, near old Danville.
  • On Saturday, 22 September 1860, Green Wood recorded in his plantation daily account book: "Smith & Sylvey, & Charles & Polly married, two Weddings."
  • On Saturday, 8 December 1860, Green Wood recorded in his plantation daily account book: "The old Bays house was raised for Charles & Polly." [Apparently elements of a house on the Bays property that Green purchased were salvaged and reassembled for Charles and Polly.]
  • According to a deed dated 13 March 1861, Rebecca and child, twins Robert and Sarah, and Polly (sometimes referred to as Raleigh) were transferred by William Barnes "Bose" Campbell to Green Wood. However, none but Polly has yet been found in the Greenwood records.
  • On Wednesday, 29 January 1862, Green Wood recorded in his plantation daily account book: "Polly's child died."
  • On Tuesday, 4 November 1862, Green Wood recorded in his plantation daily account book: "Polly has been very sick since Sunday night, monday moring very strangly affected, complains of hurting in the belly and head and deranged most of the time, has to be held in bed." And on the following day, "Polly died this morning about 6 oclock, out of her sences all night."
  • Polly died on 5 November 1862 in Montgomery County, Texas, at Greenwood plantation near old Danville.
  • Child of Polly and Charles born in 1861, was recorded by Green Wood.
