Other members of the household included Frank Moses, Nancy, Creasy, Caroline and Andrew Moses. In this census, the family was enumerated under the surname "Mosely." Also in the household is Harriet Mosely, age 11. This conflicts with record of daughter Fanny, born and died in 1859, unless they were twins, but Greenwood records do not reflect this.
• Although they were married as Daniel Moseley and Sarah Hancel, and in the 1870 census the family is enumerated with the surname Mosely, subsequent records identify family members with the surname "Moses."
• Daniel and Sarah appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Walker County, Texas. Other members of the household included Frank Moses, Hansel, Creasy, Caroline, Andrew Moses, Mahaley Moses, Elsy Moses and Victoria Moses.
• He was attending school and working on the farm, according to the 1880 census.
• He married Lucretia Davis, daughter of Joseph and Julia Simmons, circa 1894.
• Frank Moses and Lucretia Davis appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Montgomery County, Texas, enumerated next to Frank's uncle Charles Moses.. Other members of the household included Carrie Moses, Hayward Curtiss Moses, Forest Moses, Mahaley Moses and Elsy Moses. Also in the household was niece Bettie Bartley, age 10, whose identity is not yet known.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1900 census.
• Frank and Lucretia Moses and their family have yet to be found in the 1910 census.
• Frank Moses and Lucretia Davis appeared in the US federal census of 1 January 1920 in New Waverly, Walker County, Texas. Other members of the household included Carrie Moses, Daniel Moses, Frank L. Moses and Mack Moses.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1920 census.
