- Jane Dillard appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Grimes County, Texas. Other members of the household included Susan Stoneham, Bryant Stoneham and Erastus Stoneham.
- Jane Dillard died on 2 July 1858 in Grimes County, Texas.
- She was interred at Stoneham Cemetery, Stoneham, Grimes County, Texas.
- Research Note: There is little doubt that Martha Salome Stoneham was a granddaughter of Jane Dillard Stoneham, but it remains to be discovered which son was her father.
