- She married Alexander Torbert, son of Thomas Jefferson Torbert and Rebecca Priscilla Sledge, on 28 December 1911.

- She was employed as a clerk in a mercantile establishment, according to the 1920 census.
- The following appeared on 17 September 1924 in the LaFayette Sun: Mrs. J. W. Hunt, aged 69, died at her home at Oakbowery Sunday after a lingering illness. Bright's disease was given as the cause of death.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at Oakbowery Church, with Rev. C. W. Seale and O. M. Barber officiating. The following sons and sons-in-law of Mrs. Hunt acted as pallbearers: W. H. Byrd, L. M. Wooddy, J. W. Hunt, J. E. Hunt, W. R. Branham, O. S. Hunt, and E. S. Hunt.
Deceased was born in Harris County, Georgia, February 20, 1855, and resided at Oakbowery seventeen years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and is survived by husband and ten children, J. W. Hunt, Jr., J. E., O. S. and E. S. Hunt; daughters, Mrs. W. H. Byrd, Mrs. L. M. Wooddy, Mrs. Alex Torbert, Mrs. W. R. Branham, Miss Florrie Hunt, and Miss Mary Hunt. - Alexander Torbert and Annie Hunt appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Ridge Grove, Lee County, Alabama.
- Annie Hunt became a widow at the 5 March 1939 death of her husband Alexander Torbert.
- Annie Hunt died on 23 December 1940 at age 53 in Gold Hill, Lee County, Alabama.
