• Anna Elizabeth Trotter was born on 16 March 1878 in Roans Prairie, Grimes County, Texas.
• Marion Fowler Trotter appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Prairie Plains, Grimes County, Texas, living next door to his father-in-law Abram Gooch.. Other members of the household included Anna Elizabeth Trotter, Abram Gooch Trotter and Marion Tillman Trotter.
• She married Langston James Goree III, son of Langston James Goree Jr. and Martha Frances P. Wood, on 30 March 1898 in Grimes County, Texas.
• A photographic portrait was made in Navasota (by Wade) of Fannie Wood Goree and her children and grandchildren, about 1905.
