  • Sarah (?) was born say 1690.
  • She married Mark Wood, son of Edward Wood and Catherine (?), say 1710 in Princess Anne County, Virginia.
  • On 27 October 1734, Mark Wood signed the following will:
         In the name of God Amen, whereas I commit my body to ye earth & my soul unto God [who] gave it, whereas I do bequeath unto my loving wife Sara Wood all my estate within doors & without of doors, exception I give to my son William Wood my riden hors & my long goun, two couse, one as a calf, and fore him to be at age at ninteen & to my son Mark Wood one young mexd [gray] mare, one short goun, to to year old hefer & one year old ifer yearlen and for him to be at age at ninteen & I give to my son Solomon Wood my plantation and all me land there belongin & if he die without are to his brother Mark Wood & ye rest of his sher & likewise if my son Mark Wood should dy without are for his sher to fall to his brother Solomon Wood & I give Abbe Salter thurtee shilans & likewise to my granddaughter Elizabeth Salter thurtee shilens & to my grandaughter Sary Salter twenty shilens which all ye rest duren all my wifes life & after her desces for it all to be equally devided between my three sons but all my debts to be paid first at witness my hand & seale this day and year above menschend: which I do make my wife Sara Wood my holy Exesedkettor.          Witnessed by Moses M. F. Frntres and Chrls M. Salter. Princess Anne, at a Court held ye 3d Sept. 1735, Then ye withinlast will of Mark Wood dec'd was presented in court by Sarah Wood his Exor who made an oath thereto & being proved by the oaths of James & Moses Fentris witnesses thereto is admited to record.
