- Johannes Dexheimer and Anna Maria (?) arrived in the Port of New York on 26 July 1843, accompanied by Johann Saaler, Jacob Dexheimer, Maria Catharina (?), Jacob Saaler, Katharina Dexheimer, George Dexheimer, Katrina Dexheimer, Johann Dexheimer, Maria Dexheimer, Jacob Dexheimer and Andreas Saaler aboard the Ship Metamora of Alexandria from Rotterdam. [According to at least one researcher, fellow traveler on the Metamora Christian Jungbluth was born in Undenheim, Rheinhessen.]

- Jacob Saaler and Agnes (?) appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1860 in Menomenee, Wisconsin, enumerated between Conrad and Jacob Dexheimer.. Other members of the household included Johann Saaler, Andreas Saaler, Barbara Saaler and Jacob Saaler. Also in the household is servant Bovit? Lewey?, possibly a relative since one of the children has the same first name, and one male farm laborer.
