• Johannes Dexheimer and Anna Maria (?) arrived in the Port of New York on 26 July 1843, accompanied by Jacob Saaler, Jacob Dexheimer, Maria Catharina (?), Katharina Dexheimer, George Dexheimer, Katrina Dexheimer, Johann Dexheimer, Maria Dexheimer, Jacob Dexheimer, Andreas Saaler and Johann Saaler aboard the Ship Metamora of Alexandria from Rotterdam. [According to at least one researcher, fellow traveler on the Metamora Christian Jungbluth was born in Undenheim, Rheinhessen.]
• Jacob Saaler and Katharina Dexheimer appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Menomenee, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, enumerated between Conrad and Jacob Dexheimer.. Other members of the household included Johann Saaler and Andreas Saaler.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1850 census.
• Jacob Saaler became a widower at the between 1850 and 1854 death of his wife Katharina Dexheimer.
• He married Agnes (?) circa 1854.
• Jacob Saaler and Agnes (?) appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1860 in Menomenee, Wisconsin, enumerated between Conrad and Jacob Dexheimer.. Other members of the household included Andreas Saaler, Johann Saaler, Barbara Saaler and Jacob Saaler. Also in the household is servant Bovit? Lewey?, possibly a relative since one of the children has the same first name, and one male farm laborer.
• Jacob Saaler and Agnes (?), appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1870 in Menomenee, Wisconsin, Louis Saller?, age 73, likely Jacob's father, also was living with them.. Other members of the household included Barbara Saaler, Jacob Saaler, George Saaler and Agnes Saaler.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1870 census.
• Jacob Saaler died between 1870 and 1880.
• Agnes (?) became a widow at his death.
• Jacob Saaler died on 15 July 1882 at age 74 in Menomonee, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
• He was interred at Germantown, Washington County, Wisconsin.
