• The following appeared on 8 November 1897 in The Saginaw Evening News: (Montrose) Mrs. Margaret [sic] Oldswager, aged 72 years and 9 months, died at her home Saturday [sic] evening. She had been in poor health for about a year. Her husband and two [sic] sons survive her. The funeral was held at the M. P. church today at 2 p. m. Services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Terhune.
