• Christian Koelle was born on 10 June 1884 in Suspension Bridge, Niagara County, New York.
• He was baptized/christened on 21 September 1884 at Zion Lutheran Church in Niagara, Niagara County, New York, sponsored by Johann Georg Seitz and Margarete Fink.
• Cäcelie Walter appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 1415 Whirlpool Street. Other members of the household included Christian Koelle, George Koelle, John Koelle, Margaret Koelle, Marie Koelle and Wilhelmina C. Koelle.
• He was working in a book bindery, according to the 1900 census.
• He and Marie Koelle witnessed the marriage of Dempster Hardy and Margaret Koelle on 8 June 1904 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at Zion Lutheran Church.
• He married Florence Roth on 18 September 1907 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, with Rev. Herman Brezing, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating.

• He was interred at Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York.
• The following appeared on 14 May 1960 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: [Died] At Lewiston, N.Y., Friday, May 13, 1960, Christian Koelle of 198 Creek Rd., formerly of 1415 Whirlpool Ave. Father of Russell Koelle of Clarence, N.Y; brother of Mr. John Koelle, Mrs. William Zinter and Mrs. Bert McConnell, all of this city. Also survived by five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Gridfley Funeral Home Inc., 750 Main St., after 5 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Alvin H. Butz Jr. officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
