Taylor sang.
The living room was attractively decorated with baskets of pink roses and ferns, and an arrangement of Southern smilax, ferns and palms formed a background for the bridal party. Pink rose shades softened the lights. The same colors were used in the dining room, and were reflected in the refreshments which were served during the reception following the ceremony.
The bride wore a powder blue satin gown and carried bride's roses and the bridesmaid wore blue georgette and carried pink carnations.
The guests of this city were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laue and family, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Wagley and son, Mrs. W. C. Sorell and Mr. and Mrs. P. E. VanLandingham. The couple will make their home in San Antonio. - Helena L. Kunz appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at 1251 North Austin boarding in the household of mail carrier Louis Howe. She also was enumerated in 1930 with her husband Calvin Laue in San Antonio.

- The following appeared on 22 September 1967 in The San Antonio Light: Private services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Porter Loring Mortuary for Calvin E. Laue, 61, of 207 Kayton, who died Wednesday. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Survivors include his widow; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wolters, Riverside, Calif., and brother, Harold Laue, San Antonio. - She officially witnessed the death of Elizabeth Hannah Dickwish on 16 December 1972 at Menard Hospital in Menard, Menard County, Texas.
- She officially witnessed the death of Anna Bertha Kunz on 16 February 1978 at Hillside Manor Nursing Home, 8310 Gault Lane in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
- Helena L. Kunz died on 17 April 1999 at age 94 in Kerr County, Texas.
- The following appeared on 20 April 1999 in the Kerrville Daily Times: (Kerville) Mrs. Helen Laue, 94, of Kerrville, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, in a local nursing center. Mrs. Laue was taken to Porter Loring Mortuary in San Antonio, where services are pending. Local arrangements were under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
