- The following appeared on 26 November 1929 in the San Antonio Express: The marriage of Miss Helen Kunz and Calvin E. Laue, both of San Antonio, took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Kunz, 625 East Eleventh Street, Houston, Saturday evening, Nov. 9, at 8 oclock, with Rev. F. L. Perry, of this city, reading the service. Miss Dorothy Laue, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and Aubrey Stauberg was best man. Miss Viah Cross played the bridal music and Mrs. Irwin E. Taylor sang.
The living room was attractively decorated with baskets of pink roses and ferns, and an arrangement of Southern smilax, ferns and palms formed a background for the bridal party. Pink rose shades softened the lights. The same colors were used in the dining room, and were reflected in the refreshments which were served during the reception following the ceremony.
The bride wore a powder blue satin gown and carried bride's roses and the bridesmaid wore blue georgette and carried pink carnations.
The guests of this city were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laue and family, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Wagley and son, Mrs. W. C. Sorell and Mr. and Mrs. P. E. VanLandingham. The couple will make their home in San Antonio. - Calvin Eugene Laue and Helena L. Kunz appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at 314 Comargo Street. Helen also was enumerated in 1930 under her maiden name as a boarder in Chicago.

Arrangements when completed will be announced by Porter Loring, McCullough at Elmira.
- The following appeared on 22 September 1967 in The San Antonio Light: Private services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Porter Loring Mortuary for Calvin E. Laue, 61, of 207 Kayton, who died Wednesday. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Survivors include his widow; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wolters, Riverside, Calif., and brother, Harold Laue, San Antonio.
