She was a member employed as a stenographer, according to the 1910 census.
She married More J. McNail.
The following appeared on 23 March 1942 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: (Lockport) Mrs. Ella L. Dunning, widow of Oscar R. Dunning, 156 Vine street, died today after an illness of several months. She was born in East Shelby, Orleans county, but resided most of her life here. She was a member of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge, No. 84, and the Plymouth Congregational church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. M. J. McNall, of this city; two sons, Fred S. Dunning, of Niagara Falls, and Roland L. Dunning, of Lockport, and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Compton, of this city.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Taylor and Reynolds funeral home here with interment in Cold Springs cemetery.
