John George Warner

John George Warner was born on 9 December 1874 in Port Clinton, Ottawa County, Ohio.
He married Ida Pautlitz, daughter of Joseph Pautlitz and Elisabeth Dittmer, on 23 August 1904 in Ottawa County, Ohio, by license issued the same day.
John George Warner and Ida Pautlitz appeared in the US federal census of 15 April 1910 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Other members of the household included Joseph Pautlitz.
He was a carpenter, according to the 1910 census.
John George Warner died on 6 December 1927 at age 52 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at 4319 Archwood Avenue at his residence. . His death was officially witnessed by Ida Pautlitz.
Ida Pautlitz became a widow at his death.
He was interred at Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, Ottawa County, Ohio.
The following appeared on 7 December 1927 in The Sandusky Star-Journal: (Port Clinton) Funeral services for John G. Warner, 53, of Cleveland, will be held from the home of Amos W. Fall, W. Third-st, here Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. Lawson, of St. Thomas' Episcopal church, with burial at Lakeview cemetery.
Besides his wife and three children, Frederick, Jeanette and John Jr., he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Amos W. Fall, and two brothers, Albert C. Warner, Toledo, and Louis S. Warner, Port Clinton.
Until he moved to Cleveland about 20 years ago, he had been a local resident. He had been ailing for the past five years, but last week was stricken with pneumonia, which caused his death.
