- The following appeared on 29 October 1909 in the Ottawa County Herald: Mrs. Jos. Pautlitz, one of the old residents of this place, died at her home in East Clinton Last Tuesday night at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Pautlitz was an invalid for many years, but the immediate cause of her death was a stroke of paralysis which came on her last Friday. She would have been 73 years of age on the 9th of next Feb. She was a kind mother and a good neighbor, and was always held in high esteem by those she [sic] became acquainted with her. She leaves her husband, one son, A. C. Pautlitz, the mail clerk, and one daughter, both of whom live here. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Henry Steffens, who lately removed from this place to Luckey, O.
The funeral will be held from the St. Thomas Episcopal Church this (Friday) afternoon, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Broadhead officiating. Interment will be made in Lakeview cemetery. - John George Warner and Ida Pautlitz appeared in the US federal census of 15 April 1910 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Other members of the household included Joseph Pautlitz.
- The following appeared on 13 June 1913 in the Ottawa County Herald: Joseph Pautlitz, one of the pioneer citizens of this place, died at the home of his son, August C. Pautlitz, on Depot Street, last Friday, after an illness of several months, with a complication of diseases.
Mr. Pautlitz would have been 75 years of age the 7th of next August. He came to this country from Germany about 50 years ago, and has been a resident of this vicinity ever since. The deceased was prominent in the Masonic order, being one of the oldest members of O. H. Perry Lodge F. & A. M. of this place; he was well-known throughout the country for his lodge work. He leaves to mourn their loss two children, one son and one daughter, both residents of this place--August, who is a mail clerk on the L. S. Ry., and Mrs. John G. Warner. His wife and one son preceded him to the grave several years ago.
The funeral was held at the home of his son Sunday afternoon, being in charge of the Masonic order, Rev. G. R. Mente, of Lakeside, preaching the sermon. The remains were interred in Lakeview cemetery. - She officially witnessed the death of John George Warner on 6 December 1927 at 4319 Archwood Avenue in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio; at his residence.

- The following appeared on 7 December 1927 in The Sandusky Star-Journal: (Port Clinton) Funeral services for John G. Warner, 53, of Cleveland, will be held from the home of Amos W. Fall, W. Third-st, here Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. Lawson, of St. Thomas' Episcopal church, with burial at Lakeview cemetery.
Besides his wife and three children, Frederick, Jeanette and John Jr., he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Amos W. Fall, and two brothers, Albert C. Warner, Toledo, and Louis S. Warner, Port Clinton.
Until he moved to Cleveland about 20 years ago, he had been a local resident. He had been ailing for the past five years, but last week was stricken with pneumonia, which caused his death. - At the time of her death Ida Pautlitz was living in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at 4369 West 49th.

Funeral Home, Adams-st. here, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. William S. Noce of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Russell Huge, John Jr., and Frederick Warner all of Cleveland.
