- The following appeared on 20 June 1895 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: A very pretty wedding occurred at 9 o'clock this morning at the Church of the Sacred Heart, when the nuptials of Miss Lillian Hoffman of Linwood avenue and Mr. Frank Rieger of Lockport street were celebrated. Rev. Father Hines officiated and high mass was pronounced.
The bride appeared exquisitely beautiful in a dress of brocaded silk trimmed with point lace. A long, white veil was fastened to her hair by a handsome Rhinestone pin. She carried in her hand a white prayer-book. The bridesmaid was Miss Carry Rieger, a sister of the groom. She was attired in white dotted toulle, and carried white roses. Mr. Henry Hoffman, a brother of the bride, acted as best man, The ushers were Mr. Joseph Lauer of this city and Mr. Frank Diener of Buffalo. The Bride's favor to her maid was a ring set with garnets and pearls. The groom's favor to the best man was a diamond stud. His gift to the bride was a pair of diamond ear rings and a pin set with a beautiful opal. After the ceremony the wedding party was driven in carriages to the bride's home, where a reception was tendered to the happy couple and a large gathering of friends and relatives. The home was handsomely decorated and presented an attractive appearance. Dinner was served at 1 o'clock in the spacious dining room. The bride's table was decorated with pink and white. The wedding cake was a five story one frosted with white and sat in the center of the guests' table, which was decorated with training vines and cut flowers.
The bride and groom will leave this evening for an easter trip. Upon their return they will make their home in this city. Among those present at the wedding from out of the city were: Miss Tillie Fortkort, Miss C. Haffa, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hoffman and Miss Etta Hoffman of Buffalo. - Frank J. Rieger and Lillian L. Hoffman appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 1640 Eighth Street. Other members of the household included Howard Francis Rieger.

- The following appeared on 1 August 1908 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Frank Rieger, 76 years old, died at his late residence in Sugar street near Lockport street at 11 o'clock this morning after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Rieger has been in failing health for some time. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Herman M. and Frank, of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Charles S. Braas and Mrs. Martin T. Ryan of this city, and Mrs. S. Rieger of Lockport; and one syster, Mrs. Frances Regenhardt of this city.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the house and at 9 o'clock from the Church of the Sacred Heart.
Mr. Rieger has been a resident of Niagara County for over 50 yeaars, and of this city about 40 years. Both in business and in social life he was highly regarded for his sterling worth. - Frank J. Rieger and Lillian L. Hoffman appeared in the US federal census of 15 April 1910 in Niagara Falls, New York, at 1640 Eighth Street enumerated not far from Lillian's parents.. Other members of the household included Howard Francis Rieger.
- He was employed as a bottler in a bottling works, according to the 1910 census.
- Lillian L. Hoffman became a widow at his death.
