Mr. Weiler suffered a severe attack of grippe about five weeks ago, which left his heart in a weakened condition.
Thursday evening he appeared in good health and went down town for the morning papers. Later his wife went out and upon her return found him unconscious on the floor and he expired in a few moments, death resulting from heart failure.
Mr. Weiler was born in the old village of Suspension Bridge and lived here all of his life. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Frances Passaquay Weiler, two sisters, Mrs. D. V. Hurley and Mrs. John Cole of this ciry, and one brother George of Westfield, N. Y.
He was a member of The International Steam and Operating Engineers.
Funeral services from his late residence No. 919 Cedar avenue Sunday March 11, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Herman Brezing will officiate. Interment in Oakwood cemetery.
