  • The following appeared on 15 April 2007 in the Albuquerque Journal: David Jackson Reames Sr., formerly of Albuquerque, passed away in Houston, Texas on March 28, 2007 after a lengthy fight with cancer. Mr. Reames was born in San Angelo, Texas on November 10, 1942. His family moved to Albuquerque while he was young, and he grew up in Albuquerque. He attended Valley High School, and served honorably in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Reames worked as an electrician for many years here in Albuquerque and across New Mexico and Arizona before moving to Texas. Mr. Reames was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Clinton Reames,Sr., and his mother, Josephine Ellen Hill Reames. He is survived by his wife, Judy Reames; his brothers Cecil, Jr., and Wayne Reames; and his sister, Patricia Reames Milano; his three sons David, Jr., Derral and Dale Reames; and his daughter Deborah Reames Straub; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed.
