Nina Amelia Allen was born on 6 September 1914.
She married Hudson Stuck Miers, son of Robert Newton Miers and Lizzie Harris Wood, on 24 January 1942 in Dallas, Texas, at 3309 Westminster, the home of her parents, with the Rev. L. Valentine Lee officiating.
The following appeared on 25 January 1942 in the Dallas Morning News: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Robert Allen have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Nan Allen, to Hudson Miers, which took place Saturday at 4 p.m. at the home of the bride's parents, 3309 Westminster. The Rev. L. Valentine Lee officiated. /P/ The ceremony was performed in front of the buffet, which was centered with an arrangement of white gladioli and stock. At each end of the buffet were white candles in three-branched candelabra. /P/ The bride wore a deep aqua two-piece suit with a white blouse and black accessories. Her flowers were a camellia corsage. /P/ Mr. Miers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Miers, 4533 South Versailles. He attended the University of Texas and Southern Methodist University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. /P/ The bride attended the University of Texas and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority The couple will live in Dallas.
Nina Amelia Allen became a widow at the 6 March 1987 death of her husband Hudson Stuck Miers.
Nina Amelia Allen died on 1 January 2002 at age 87 in Johnson County, Kansas.
She was interred at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
