Kirk, by Florence, Fielding H., and Clara B. Garrison, of Washington, in the chancery court Monday morning. The property involved is located on Adams, Houston, Holliard, Hall, Clopton, Hutchings and Smyth streets. /P/ The suit contends that the defendants were granted duties of caring for the property and that they allowed it to deteriorate in value. They ask that the chancellor appoint a receiver to take charge of it and that he be given authority ot borrow money for needed improvements and to pay taxes.

- The following appeared on 11 March 1920 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Dr. E. B. Kirk, age 60, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital. He had made the city his home for about thirty years, and had many friends. He was a member of the Episcopal church. /P/ Funeral services will take place from Leak-McCarty Chapel this Thursday afternoon at three o'clock. Interment at Oakwood.
